BarCamp Deland
Kathryn Neel gave a presentation on biohacking at Bar Camp DeLand last weekend. The wearable biohacks especially interested me. On the other hand the implanted biohacks were quite scary.
Randy Hoyt gave a presentation on his kickstarter campaign for his board game Relic Expedition. His board game is kind of like Settlers of Catan, but with a Indiana Jones feel. Go preorder it at foxtrot games.
Lisa Tennant gave a presentation on self publishing. Recently she published a children’s book called Min Min and the Magic Garden. Go check it out on amazon.
One of the bars that hosted Bar Camp DeLand. I was drinking a Monty Python and the Holy Grail Ale between presentations.

Mischief
Trying out Mischief. It’s a vector based drawing program with a semi-raster feel. So far, I really like it. The infinite canvas feature is quite nice.
Playing with Symmetry
I’ve been playing with infinite design on my galaxy note 10.1 tablet. It’s pretty fun, and has drawing modes similar to the ones I enjoy in alchemy. I really enjoy the various symmetry modes. Also, drawing vector shapes with the pen tool is so much more fun on a multi-touch device.
